Adventure Travel Blog

On November 9th, 2018, I walked out of my corporate office for the very last time. It was part of a two-year effort to detach ourselves from the physical realities that we held on to, that didn’t serve us or our destiny, so that we can make room for the things that will. We’re making room for our new dreams of travel and adventure. This is where our story begins as we shift from sticks-and-bricks to the endless paved and dirt roads of this great world in search of freedom and adventure in our next stage in life.

Up until now we had achieved every goal that we had set for ourselves, a twenty six year long and prosperous career as an executive in the financial services industry, with a lucrative income, a successful business and a beautiful home in a bubble community that allowed us to raise the best kids anyone could ever ask for. However, it was time for new goals and a radical change.

After exploring many alternatives, like buying land up in the mountains, renting our house, building a tiny home on wheels, we finally decided to sell everything and buy a motorhome. This was our way for us to let go and move forward.

With so much more to plan for in the following months, a college graduation, a soccer tournament, a wedding, our business future, the sale of our home, we new it would be a process. The next few months would be a whirlwind of mixed feelings and emotions and memories that would last a lifetime.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets and tomorrow is not a guarantee. So, as we begin our transition, we also hope to inspire some of you to let go and create space for better things to enter your life. Our mission now is to encourage those looking for change to let go of the things that hold us down, and consider the alternative to making dreams a reality, no matter what stage in life we’re in.
